“ We stopped in to grab a couple of slices after having cocktails over at Adolfs across the street. The pizza at Carbones is good. It has a sweeter sauce, decent tasting crust, quality cheese and very spicy pepperoni. If I was in the area, I'd pick up a slice but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. There are a couple of spots near us that I like a little more. Overall, it's a solid pizza. ”

My first stop was to this cool little neighborhood to try Carbone's. It's excellent. The things that make it Buffalo pizza are focaccia style crust, "cup and char" pepperoni, and you're supposed to order it well done. I tried this place a few weeks ago but I had it delivered and it was cold when I got it. Today, I went and had a slice hot out of the oven. I give it a 7.8. I'm trying to be careful with my rating because it's the first one I've really tried. The crust is nice and airy, the pepperonis have a really good spice, and the sauce is sweet and spicy. Overall, I love this pizza. ”
